Encouragement on the Daily Christian Life | Pastor Marc Labonté | Harare, Zimbabwe

From November 24 to 27, the church in Harare was blessed to welcome Pastor Marc Labonté and his team from Mauritius—Françoise, Cédric and Eli.

During the Wednesday meeting with the church, Pastor Marc emphasised the call for every Christian to walk in the light and to allow the Lord to continually work in their hearts. Using verses from Matthew 5:13–16 and Ephesians 5:8–14, he highlighted the importance of guarding our hearts, remaining sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and embracing repentance as a daily part of the Christian walk. The message encouraged the church to let the light of God reveal anything that hinders spiritual growth, just as an engine requires regular servicing to remain in good condition.

There was a strong response during the time of prayer, with many opening their hearts to restoration, humility, and renewed commitment to the Lord. The church also prayed for Pastor Marc and the team as they continued their mission to Botswana and South Africa, trusting the Lord to guide and strengthen them for the work ahead.

Pastor Marc also met with the Harare elders on Tuesday evening, where they shared a special time of fellowship, encouragement, and mutual building up in the Spirit. Although the visit was brief, it had a profound spiritual impact and strengthened the hearts of all who were present.
