Church Visit | Pastor Jocelyn Séry | Mahé, Seychelles

From 9 to 20 July 2026, the Christian Fellowship of Seychelles welcomed Pastor Jocelyn Sery and Claudie, his wife, along with the accompanying team from Reunion Island and Mauritius. During the visit, the church held three days of seminars, a meeting with brothers and sisters serving the Lord alongside the elders, a couples’ meeting, and two Sunday services, all held at the STC Conference Centre in Victoria, Mahé.
Pastor Sery’s message centred on the love of God for His people, calling believers to humility, repentance and forgiveness so that their hearts would not grow bitter or turn from God’s ways. He spoke of the need to remain watchful against the enemy’s plans, and reminded the church that God’s love toward those who stumble does not change, and that He remains faithful even where His people are not.
In his final meeting, Pastor Sery encouraged the church to remain spiritually alert, to keep a clean heart, and to embrace God’s plan for their lives. In a separate gathering, Claudie shared with the sisters of the church.
The elders described the teaching as timely for the congregation, expressing hope that it would draw the church toward greater unity and love.
