Pre-Conference Visit | Gilbert Grant | Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

From 20 to 31 July 2026, Gilbert Grant journeyed from Mauritius to West Africa travelling via Paris and Lomé before a long road journey to Kasoa, west of Accra, Ghana, alongside Daniel Alofa. Combining the border crossing at Aflao, and severe traffic jams around Accra, extended the trip from a planned 4 hours to 8 hours!  

The main objective of this trip was on Ouagadougou, where brother Théophile Diabo awaited Gilbert’s arrival  to finalise arrangements for the upcoming BUILD Conference in early December 2026. They met with senior leadership of the Assemblies of God, as well as the President of the major Federation of Evangelical churches.

This preparation visit to the conference venue and with the Organising Committee has laid the groundwork for the conference, ensuring that arrangements and logistics to welcome pastors from neighbouring countries are firmly in place well ahead of time.
