Live Out the Truth of the Gospel! | Pastor Marc Labonté | Gaborone, Botswana

From 27 November to 5 December, the church in Gaborone had the privilege of welcoming Pastor Marc Labonté from Mauritius.

Pastor Marc led a meeting on Friday in which he shared what it means to walk with the Lord—carrying a reverent fear of God in the heart and allowing Him to shape and transform lives. On Saturday, the church gathered for an end-of-year picnic, a wonderful time of fellowship and thanksgiving. Pastor Marc encouraged the church to carry hearts of constant gratitude, never forgetting, as with the Israelites, where the Lord has brought His people from and what He has done for them.

On Sunday, he shared a message titled The Truth in Us, urging the church to seek and live out the truth of the gospel. This truth, he explained, should be the anchor in the believer’s walk with the Lord. In his final meeting on Wednesday, he spoke on overcoming faith, encouraging believers to be true servants of God—walking by faith and embracing the work of God in their lives. Such faith, he affirmed, leads to the victory the Lord won on the cross.

The church was deeply uplifted and refreshed by the visit of Pastor Marc Labonté and the team, and looks forward to many more such occasions.
