Walking the Christian Road | Pastor Roland La Hausse | Seychelles

Pastor Roland La Hausse, accompanied by his wife Véronique, spent ten days with the church in Seychelles from 12 to 22 November, where he was warmly welcomed by more than 200 attendees.
During his visit, he led a seminar and the church gathering, emphasising the need for Christians to live separated from the world so that true spiritual construction can take place. He encouraged believers to rise and allow the Lord to lift them in due time, and to let God work in their lives so they may become vessels of honour pleasing to the Master. He concluded his series of meetings by reminding the church that the real enemies are the flesh, the world and the devil rather than trials, which are part of the Christian walk and strengthen our faith. Both the Friday and Saturday evenings saw a strong response to the altar calls, and many testimonies followed of God’s intervention through the gospel and prayer. Pastor Roland held additional meetings during the week, encouraging the elders, deacons, and deaconesses in their service, and spending quality time with the couples. The sisters also enjoyed a special time of encouragement in a meeting led by Véronique. They were blessed by the opportunity to hear what the Lord had placed on her heart and to share in a time of fellowship.
He ended his visit by highlighting God’s special plan for each Christian and the need for ongoing spiritual progress. This time with the church proved both encouraging and edifying, and they left strengthened and grateful.
