Let No One Take Your Crown! | Pastor Jocelyn Séry | Rodrigues

Almost a year after their last visit, the Christian Church of Rodrigues had the great joy of welcoming Pastor Jocelyn Séry and his wife Claudie from October 28th to November 2nd, just back from the International Conference held in Mauritius.
Originally planned for two days, Pastor Jocelyn’s seminar was extended to three days of sharing on Colossians 2:16: “Let no one take your crown.” He encouraged the church to keep their eyes fixed on the true word of God in the difficult times ahead, and to take the necessary measures to run the race steadfastly, so as to one day receive the crown the Lord has prepared.
Pastor Jocelyn also met with about forty church responsibles and exhorted them on how to receive and share the gospel in order to be effective in their service, while Sister Claudie encouraged about sixty sisters to find their place within the church.
Their visit concluded with a church gathering, during which Pastor Jocelyn spoke on the importance of obedience to the message of the cross, as well as meekness and repentance.
