Resurrection Life | Pastor Miki Hardy | San Pedro Sula, Honduras
San Pedro Sula welcomed the very first BUILD Conference in Latin America — 500 church leaders gathered around the theme of the Resurrection Life.
Pastor Miki Hardy and his wife Audrey arrived in Honduras after a long trip, joined by teams from Sarasota and England. Pastor José Ochoa and his wife Elisabeth from Tegucigalpa warmly welcomed everyone. Their church team worked hard organising the two-day conference, including providing lunches for the attendees.
Day 1 began with worship, after which Pastor Mario from San Pedro Sula welcomed Pastor Miki to share. He spoke on the true call of a pastor — to lose his life for the gospel and for God’s people — with moments of quiet reflection throughout.
On Day 2, Pastor José led the congregation in a Spanish version of one of Audrey’s songs — Señor, líberame. Pastor Miki continued on the cross that Christians are called to carry and the grace the Lord gives to walk in the resurrection life. As the message was received, a sense of deep gratitude filled the room. Fellowship flowed naturally over lunchtimes, with conversations in both Spanish and English.
The conference closed with Pastor Miki praying over every pastor present, encouraging them in what the Lord wants to do in their midst going forward.
