Part 3/3. Looking Back
As we close the 24th edition of the CTMI International Conference, we are blessed and encouraged to see how the Lord has been present and moving through and with His Church this year.
New flags were raised in the auditorium as first-timers from several new countries and nationalities joined us, among them Senegal, Egypt, Poland, India, Turkey and Cuba. And for the first time, the conference was overdubbed live in Arabic!
The programme in itself was rich. As usual, a special programme had been planned for the church leaders and pastors, who gathered to support the event in prayer before each evening. Their conference did not stop after the Sunday service, either: they enjoyed a dedicated elders’ meeting on the following Tuesday and a lunch on Wednesday, offering further space for building relationships, strengthening and encouraging one another, as well as an opportunity to welcome the newly nominated elders into the team.
The sisters were also blessed by a special meeting marked by heartfelt testimonies and encouragement.
Beyond the meeting, the praise and worship gave us all a glimpse of heaven. It was truly wonderful to see people from every nation, who were once separated by culture, borders or seas, stand together in the house of God in which they are no longer foreigners. Praise and worship teams from some of the hubs blessed us with special songs, and a small crew from Gabon even surprised the audience by performing “Acclamons le Roi” on stage!
We thank the Lord for His grace that carried the event, and for each of our brothers and sisters who joined us on site, as well as those who followed online. Indeed, we cannot forget the thousands who connected every night to be encouraged by the Gospel through radio and TV broadcasts. CTMI’s Facebook page even reached 2M visits!
And last but not least, we want to thank all the volunteers from Mauritius and abroad who helped make this event happen. To all our brothers and sisters backstage, we couldn’t have done it without you!
It is with great excitement that we now look unto the new year, expecting great things for the hubs and eagerly waiting for our 25th Anniversary Celebration: save the dates, we’re meeting again on October 21-25, 2026! See you there!
