After the BUILD conference in Honduras, Pastor Stephen Gachengo visited the Sarasota church from September 15 to 20. Over the course of three meetings, the congregation was encouraged to refocus on the essentials: sound doctrine, the apostolic foundation, and the Holy Spirit.

The first evening opened with a fundamental question concerning the source of our spiritual nourishment. On the second evening, drawing from the book of Acts, the focus was on freedom within submission, as well as the Church’s primary mission: transformation. Finally, the visit concluded on Sunday with a reminder: every born-again believer carries the Holy Spirit within as an inner “detector,” and can grow each day by learning to follow His leading.
