church Visit | pastor Étienne | guinea
Following the recent BUILD conference in Conakry with pastor Miki Hardy, pastor Bruno Payet, who was part of the CTMI team, travelled over 100 kilometres from Conakry to Forécariah to visit pastor Étienne Temessadouno and his church. Etienne had personally invited him to share the Word in his church, providing a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the relationship. Étienne had already been to the International Conference in Mauritius last year and helped translate the BUILD conferences into his local language.
On his arrival, Bruno was warmly welcomed by Etienne and his wife. The local church, which has just over a hundred members, showed a real openness to the Gospel, and the time of sharing was both powerful and deeply appreciated.
After a rich moment of communion, Bruno set off on his return journey. Although the journey back to Conakry was long and difficult (almost 4 hours due to heavy traffic), he returned encouraged and strengthened, thankful for a day marked by meaningful bonds, spiritual edification and the building of solid fraternal ties.
