The BUILD Conference in Senegal with Pastor Miki Hardy : A powerful message and a Call to Spiritual Maturity
The BUILD conference took place for the first time in Dakar, Senegal! From November 25 to 27, Pastor Miki Hardy visited the town and led three days of meetings that brought together over 450 participants.
At the outset, he reminded the audience that effectiveness in the Kingdom is not measured by how many seats are filled in our churches, but by the formation of spiritual and mature Christians. He encouraged those present to safeguard sound doctrine and to remain faithful to the truth of the Gospel.
Throughout the meetings, he developed this message further, emphasising that the believer’s cross stands at the centre of the Christian life. Taking up one’s cross is an essential experience that requires a constant reliance on the grace of God. It is on this path of humility, where pride is broken, that genuine fellowship with Christ is built. The life of the Spirit can then be expressed in the believer, demonstrating that the cross remains the only path to authentic spiritual growth. In contrast with what certain doctrines promote, he reminded the audience that suffering naturally forms part of the Christian journey.
The conference concluded with a warmly received question-and-answer session, which allowed participants to explore several key topics, including the relationship between culture and ministry.
We give glory to God for this open door in the country and the collaboration with the Global Leadership Summit in Senegal.
