Return to the Apostolic Gospel | Pastors Stephen Gachengo & Jocelyn Séry | Kilifi, Kenya

The BUILD Church Leaders Meetings held on 27–28 March in Kilifi, Kenya, brought together a larger number of pastors and leaders, with a noticeably higher attendance than in Mombasa.
Following the team’s arrival from Mombasa, the meetings began in an atmosphere of expectation and openness. Despite practical challenges, including intense heat and a temporary power outage, the programme continued smoothly, with a readiness among those present to engage with the message.
Pastor Jocelyn Séry and Apostle Stephen Gachengo shared on returning to the Apostolic Gospel and remaining grounded in faith and sound doctrine. Key themes included “fighting the good fight of faith”, “going back to the old paths” (Jeremiah 6), and “the promise – faith and love” (1 John 2:24).
A strong response was observed, particularly among older pastors, some of whom shared that the message echoed what they had received at the beginning of their walk with the Lord, but had not heard for many years.
Many expressed encouragement and a desire to continue together, to learn, and to see further meetings take place in Kilifi. The time concluded with meaningful fellowship and a clear sense of momentum for what lies ahead.
