Bournemouth Christian Church was delighted to welcome Pastor Stephen Gachengo from Nairobi, Kenya, accompanied by his daughter Regina. His last visit was in December, and we were delighted that he was able to enjoy better British weather this time!

Following on from his previous visit, Pastor Stephen emphasised the importance of being firmly rooted and established in the Gospel by faith. In addition, the church was encouraged to treasure the gifts and ministries provided for the equipping of the saints, as we see in Ephesians 4.

At a special breakfast for the men, he urged them to be faithful and united in defending God’s righteousness, justice and order, both in the church and in the family.

His visit was a profound reminder of God’s faithfulness to his Church and his desire to build it on a solid foundation. It was also an opportunity to issue a call to the Church to reach out to this nation that so desperately needs the Gospel.
