Pastor Stephen Gachengo in Sarasota
In June, the Sarasota church was delighted to welcome Pastor Stephen Gachengo to encourage the church. He shared a message focused on the importance of letting go of the past in order to walk fully with Jesus.
Stephen reminded the church that we can’t stay connected to old hurts, mistakes or regrets and expect to be connected to Jesus at the same time. To walk in freedom, we must let go of “what has been” in order to cling to “who is”: our hope, our healer, our redeemer. As Jesus calls us to go forward, not backward, we are challenged to fix our eyes on him.
The church in Sarasota is grateful for Stephen’s heart, for his authority in the spirit, and for the way God continues to speak through him.
