Pastor Marc Labonté -Family camp, cape town

On Friday 30 May, 50 brothers and sisters gathered at the magnificent but cold and windy Bettys Bay for the Cape Town family camp. For Pastor Marc Labonté from Mauritius, this was already his third family camp since arriving in South Africa on 15 May to visit the country’s churches.

During the meetings, Marc encouraged us to sincerely give our lives for each other, because the Church must be known for the love between brothers and sisters. For our Christian life, we need a true faith that will only come by accepting God’s work in us in humility.

We enjoyed the walks on the beach during the day, and an evening of worship around the fire on Saturday, where the Lord’s presence was tangible. The Lord met us and strengthened us and it was a wonderful time for which we are so grateful.
