Letter to the churches 2026

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Warm greetings to you all in the wonderful name of Jesus.
As we look back at the past year, we can all testify to the grace and faithfulness of Jesus towards us. Whether we have been blessed spiritually or physically, or whether we have gone through trials, encountered difficulties, or faced persecution, whatever our journey has been this year, we know that He has kept us and sustained us—and for this we are truly grateful to Him.
Without a doubt, our church has not been without its challenges over the years. From our involvement in the charismatic movement of the late 70s to a subsequent focus on prosperity for personal gain, the Lord graciously opened our eyes to step away from that doctrine. This decision marked a significant turning point, despite going against the flow of what was being preached in many churches at the time.
In His grace, the Lord began to reveal to our hearts the message of the cross for the Christian. As we embraced this truth, we encountered misunderstanding and opposition, even being accused of preaching a false doctrine. Yet, by His grace, God enabled us to grow spiritually, and our desire to know Christ more fully and to remain in His truth has only deepened.
I know the enemy will try everything he can to destabilise us as believers and bring confusion. A simple example is the increasing presence of worldly entertainment, music, and dance in many churches, with all that it entails. We need to stay watchful and sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us as a church, standing firm in the true spirit of the Gospel.
This year, we have also been greatly encouraged in our outreach to unbelievers, sharing the message of salvation and healing, as well as in all our meetings for pastors—missions we will joyfully continue. We are truly blessed to be part of a church that constantly encourages us to walk in love, grace, freedom, righteousness, and holiness. All the glory belongs to Jesus, and Him alone.
Thank you for your faithful support and prayers. Together with all the elders, we remain committed to caring for you and sharing the true Gospel in these last days. The new year stands full of promise and expectation; there is much to trust God for.
My wife, Audrey, joins me in sending you our love in Christ,
Miki Hardy
