Family Camp | Pastor Marc Labonté | Johannesburg, south Africa
From 16 to 18 May 2025, the Joburg and Botswana churches met in the North-West Province of South Africa for a family camp. 200 people attended, including Pastor Marc Labonté from Mauritius and a few visitors from Zimbabwe and Namibia. Despite the chill of winter, the fellowship between brothers and sisters warmed our hearts.
Marc shared about the faith we need to have in God’s plan for our lives and encouraged us to let the Lord work in us and to trust him in all circumstances. He also spoke of the victory we gain when we are broken before the Lord, ready to forgive our brothers and sisters and quick to repent and keep our relationships clear.
Finally, in a precious moment in the presence of the Lord, Mark prayed for couples to be restored.
Between meetings, we enjoyed some wonderful times of fellowship and fun together. Some picnicked on the grass in the sunshine, while the more adventurous ventured onto the waterslide and into the many pools.
Before long, the weekend was over and it was time to pack up and head home. But we left with renewed faith and a desire to seek God’s plan and allow him access to every area of our lives!
