From 5 to 9 July 2025, the Europe Youth Camp was held at the Domaine des Térébinthes in France. The event brought together some 150 participants from France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, as well as Réunion and Mauritius. Among them were 86 young campers, supervised by a dedicated team and accompanied by six elders representing local European assemblies.

This edition was marked by the presence of Brother Eugene Nyathi and his wife Nadine, who came especially from Mauritius. On the first evening, Eugene shared a message about the miracle of salvation. He reminded us that salvation is a personal journey, a call from the Lord to detach ourselves from the ways of this world and follow Him fully. Following this sharing, a dozen young people expressed their desire to give their lives to Christ.

Beyond the teaching sessions, the camp was punctuated by games, practical workshops and many moments of fellowship. This year’s theme, ‘Stronger Together’, set the tone. A workshop on identity in Christ particularly impacted the young people, inviting them to build their lives on the Word of God rather than on the standards of this world.

Among the most popular spaces, the ‘Coffee Corner Worship’ created a warm and spontaneous atmosphere. During their free time, the young people gathered there to sing and play instruments, accompanied on some evenings by Brother Eugene on the piano and Brother Eric on the djembe. In the same spirit, each team of campers was invited to compose a song, which was presented during an improvised mini-concert. Eugene concluded this festive moment with a few songs of praise, bringing the musical evening to a beautiful close.

Throughout the camp, one message stood out strongly: we are God’s people, saved by grace, called to follow Him. A message perfectly summed up by the song ‘We Are God’s People’!

Brother Eugene’s visit to France began with a meeting at the church in Nanterre a few days before the camp and ended with a service in Chaville on Sunday 13 July. Eugene and Nadine’s visit was a blessing for all the brothers and sisters, young and old alike, and will remain engraved in their hearts as a time of fellowship, spiritual growth and response to God’s call.
