Equipping the Families and the Church | Pastor Richard Langworthy | Francistown, Botswana

From November 28th to 30th, Pastor Richard Langworthy visited Harvest Christian Church in Francistown. During his visit, he held three meetings and spent meaningful time with the brothers and sisters.

Throughout his stay, Pastor Richard addressed two major subjects. On the one hand, he shared God’s heart for families. He encouraged parents to shape their children’s character and to be their primary educators, rather than relying chiefly on school systems, which often open doors to the world and its influences. He explained that it is through the establishment of strong relationships between parents and children that sharing takes place and protection is found.
On the other hand, he returned to the foundations of sound doctrine, teaching that sanctification—which comes through obedience—leads us to live according to the purposes of the Lord.

The church also hosted an End-of-Year Dinner Outreach, which proved to be a wonderful time of fellowship. Brother Ndumiso Sibanda shared his testimony, reminding everyone of the greatest experience there is: to be born again and saved.

These moments spent together were rich and were a great blessing to the church.
