Come Down from Your Tree | Pastor Stephen Gachengo | Bournemouth, UK

From 12–14 June, Pastor Stephen Gachengo visited Bournemouth Christian Church for a three-day seminar. Brothers and sisters travelled from across England, including the church extension in Bedford, as well as from the Netherlands, France, and Ireland, to gather around the Word of God. The French team even blessed the church with a Ugandan song during the Sunday service.
Drawing from the story of Zacchaeus, Pastor Stephen opened the seminar by encouraging the church not merely to desire to see the Lord from a distance, but to come down from the tree and respond to His call. He also emphasised the importance of seeking spiritual guidance and understanding the importance of the apostolic ministry in building on a firm foundation.
Alongside the meetings, precious times of fellowship were shared through a ladies’ breakfast, a men’s breakfast, and a visit to Branksome Beach.
We thank the Lord for all that He has sown during this weekend and for the relationships He continues to strengthen among the churches in Europe.
