church visit | Roland La Hausse | Egypt
Greetings from the land of Moses and pharaohs! We landed in Cairo on the 20th of March after a rerouting via JHB to avoid the “unrest” in Dubai. It was actually beneficial to arrive 2 days earlier as it gave Pastor Roland the opportunity to meet with new pastors and share in 2 meetings on Sunday. Over the course of the 18 days that we will be here, we’ll visit 6 churches and meet with new pastors & leaders.
We are also here in Egypt to support and facilitate the BUILD CONFERENCE 2026, which will take place on the 26th and 27th of March in Alexandria. There is a strong expectation, as it is the first BUILD to be translated into Arabic and also broadcasted live on El Karma satellite TV which reaches the Arabic speaking countries of North Africa.
Part of the CTMI team has also arrived to prepare for this event. We are very grateful for the help of our brother Joseph, who has been supporting the local preparations together with Pastor Emad and Pastor Essam from El Menya (all 3 attended the conference in Mauritius). Translators play a key role, as not many people understand or speak English.
On Sunday, brother Joseph organised for Pastor Roland to share at Pastor Hany’s church. We were truly blessed to hear and feel the heart of Pastor Hany, who warmly welcomes the Gospel. He will organise a meeting with some other leaders when we return to Cairo after BUILD. We ended the day with an evening meeting at Pastor Essam’s church (Cairo). We can sense the openness of the servants of God, ready to recognise their need—both personally and for the church.
Please keep this mission, the BUILD Conference and Pastor Miki in prayer, for the visitation of the Lord in this great land of Egypt. To get more info, connect on the CTMI Facebook page, where there are three pre-interviews of Pastor Miki, done by brother Joseph in Arabic/English, in preparation for this conference. You will also be able to watch the live broadcast of the conference once the El Karma TV links are shared. Here are some picture of our first few days in Egypt – Love and blessings!
