From 18 to 25 January, Pastor Jocelyn Séry stopped in France for four meetings with the Église Évangélique Missionnaire, en route to North and Central America. This marked the start of a much-anticipated series of missionary programmes for 2026!

He encouraged the brothers and sisters to remember that “the work of Jesus Christ on the cross is perfect and definitive.” During a two-day seminar, he called the church to develop a mature faith, firmly rooted in the certainty that in God there is only “yes” and “amen.” He exhorted them to trust in God’s sovereignty even in the midst of trials and to live a Christian life centred on the love of Christ. Particular emphasis was placed on the call to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, so as to give thanks in all things, in the spirit of Psalm 23.

This visit was a true blessing for the European hub and an encouraging way to begin the new year!
