Church Visit | FABIEN LARHUBARBE | Reunion Island

In Reunion Island, at the end of January 2026, neither the heat nor the heavy rainfall warnings diminished the zeal of Pastor Fabien Larhubarbe, who came for three weeks of church visits. Of the island’s six congregations, five were able to benefit from his ministry. From the north to the far south, and from west to east, the churches were richly blessed. Parents, couples and leaders also took part in meetings specially organised for them.
Faith was the central theme of the messages: a living faith, nourished by the Word of God and rooted in a personal relationship with Him, leading the believer to submit to His will. When tested, it produces stability, maturity and confidence in the Christian walk; when strengthened, it makes one humble and steadfast, preparing hearts to suffer for Christ and to love His Church.
In becoming a disciple, the Christian learns to receive the Lord’s rebuke and instruction, allowing room for repentance, restoration and spiritual growth.
The pastor also emphasised the importance of developing spiritual discernment in order to recognise the enemy’s traps and fulfil God’s plan. It is essential to remain spiritually alert and watchful so that hearts may continually be kept in the fear of the Lord and in humility. It is this humility that enables us to forgive and be forgiven, to love beyond prejudice and to restore relationships, making each person an instrument of reconciliation in God’s hands.
Without doubt, the message that was brought stirred faith and hope in many hearts. Follow this link to (re)listen to the meeting: https://www.youtube.com/@acmir974/videos
