Brothers Brighton Charama and Joel Mandanji visited the Mwinilunga region in north-west Zambia
Brothers Brighton Charama and Joel Mandanji visited the Mwinilunga region in north-west Zambia from 11 to 18 June. The mission was to meet with leaders in the region to prepare for a possible BATIR conference this year.
After a 14-hour, 900km journey from Lusaka along the Great North Highway, renowned for its heavy HGV traffic, difficult access and numerous roadworks, Brighton and Joel received a warm and simple welcome from the leaders of Mwinilunga.
They are delighted to have the opportunity to take part in a CTMI event that will help to strengthen the leaders of this region, which stretches from Zambia to neighbouring towns and villages in eastern Angola and the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the Gospel.
Some of these leaders discovered BUILD through their contact with Brother Joel. They are already mobilising and expect nearly 600 pastors to attend a future BUILD conference. The team has also spent time considering how best to plan such a conference logistically, given the challenge of the road network in this region.
Please continue to pray that this conference will become a reality as soon as possible.
