church visit | Eugene Nyathi | united kingdom
It had been nearly 20 years since Brother Eugene Nyathi had visited Bournemouth Christian Church. The church had the privilege of welcoming him and his wife Nadine for an enriching stay during which three meetings were held, as well as a breakfast for the brothers and a gathering for the sisters.
During the Saturday evening meeting, the church was reminded of God’s desire to prepare us for His return. As Eugene shared about the things the Lord desires to deal with in our lives, many people responded to an altar call for prayer.
On Sunday morning, the hall reached its maximum capacity, with many new families and young people attending for the first time, both from the local community and from further afield (Bedford, Cambridge, London, France and Reunion Island)!
Hearts were deeply refreshed by what Eugene shared from God’s Word and his own life. At each meeting, he led a few songs of praise and worship and challenged everyone on their attitude towards worshipping the Lord. Praise and worship are the response of a grateful heart that sees what Christ has accomplished through his death on the cross and his resurrection.
The Bournemouth church is very grateful to God for his gifts and generosity in sending Eugene and Nadine to them for this special time.
