Back to Where It All Began | BUILD Conference | Alexandria, Egypt

The first BUILD Conference in Egypt took place from March 26 to 27, 2026, at the Kingdom Centre near Alexandria. A CTMI team of 15 members from Mauritius, France, England, Holland, and Cyprus accompanied Pastor Miki Hardy, his wife Audrey, and Pastor Roland La Hausse and his wife Véronique for this historic mission. The team arrived in Cairo on March 20, 2026, observing visible security near El Tahrir Square before Pastor Roland visited two local churches on March 22, 2026. Following a three-hour bus journey and the final 2 km on dirt roads, approximately 300 participants gathered at the Kingdom Centre complex for the event. Despite dust storms and heavy rain, over 225 pastors and church leaders travelled up to six hours to attend.
The sessions focused on the urgency of returning to the apostolic Gospel and the necessity for leaders to participate in the sufferings and death of Christ to transmit His life. Worship was marked by the melodic sound of the Oud and the sincere fervour of the Egyptian believers, with many coming forward for prayer at the end of the first day. The conference reached a global audience through a live broadcast by Al Karma TV, covering the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas. After the event, the team shared fellowship with Pastor Radi and Pastor Thomas in Alexandria. Most members departed on March 29, 2026, whereas Pastor Roland, his wife, and Brother Youssouf remained for an additional week to continue strengthening these vital connections.
