A Pastor’s Responsibility | Pastors Stephen Gachengo & Richard Langworthy | BUILD Conference | Gaborone, Botswana

The BUILD Conference for church leaders was held in Gaborone, Botswana, from 17 to 18 March 2026, led by Pastor Stephen Gachengo and Pastor Richard Langworthy, together with a team of elders from the region and CTMI. Over 40 pastors attended.

Over the two days, the focus was on returning to strong foundations and strengthening leaders in their walk and ministry. The importance of remaining grounded in the true Gospel and maintaining clarity in today’s context was highlighted.

Pastors were encouraged in their responsibility to care for the Church and to ensure that what is built honours Christ.

Many responded positively, expressing a renewed desire to serve faithfully with greater clarity and conviction. This conference was a time of encouragement and realignment, strengthening leaders to continue serving with purpose and faithfulness.
