A Heart After God | Ladies Conference | Marie Josée Labonté & Kamla Pandoo

It was a great privilege to welcome Sisters Kamla and Marie Josée, together with their team from Mauritius, to Selebi Phikwe, Botswana, for a two-day ladies’ conference. The weather in Phikwe was warm and sunny, and more than 100 women attended each day.
On the first day, Marie Josée shared her personal testimony, encouraging us not to allow our past, our personalities, or our hardships to hinder us from serving the Lord wholeheartedly. She reminded us that our identity is found in Him and that we are called to die to self, take our place in God’s order, and remain faithful even through difficult seasons.
On the second day, Kamla took the morning session on forgiveness, sharing how the Lord enabled her to release deep hurt and walk in true freedom. She emphasised the power of the gospel to heal our hearts and to help us forgive as the Lord desires. In the later session, Marie Josée taught on God’s order in the home from Ephesians 5:22, encouraging wives to walk in humble submission as an act of obedience to the Lord, trusting in His design even in challenging circumstances.
